July 18th, 2025- Big news, Wunde students! Our school just won an amazing award called the "Excellence Award" from the Future Literacy Academy! This is a super special award that shows how great our school is at learning and teaching.

Our very own Director Liu, who helps lead our teachers, also won a fantastic award called the "Glorious Legacy Award!" Both Director Liu and Principal Hsieh went all the way to Taipei to accept these awards.

These awards mean a lot because they show how hard everyone at Wunde Elementary works, from our teachers to all of you, our awesome students!

Why We Won!

Here are some reasons why Wunde Elementary is so special:

• For four years in a row, we've been named a "Literacy Model School." This means we're really good at helping you learn!

• Almost all of our students, 99.7% of you, finished your work on a learning game called Pagamo! That's the best in the whole country!

• You're also getting better and better at answering questions correctly on Pagamo. Our older students are getting 80% right, which is super high!

• We're using digital books and special lessons to make reading fun and connect it to things you do every day. Reading isn't just words; it's about real-life experiences!

The Pagamo team has helped us a lot by giving our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders free access to their learning game for four years. This has made learning even more exciting and helpful!

All of this amazing success is thanks to the hard work and planning of people like Director Liu and our dedicated team of teachers.

July 12th, 2025- Guess what, Wunde students? Our friends who went on the two-week English learning trip to Cebu, Philippines, are safely back home! They had an awesome adventure and learned so much.

They spent two weeks practicing their English, meeting new people, and experiencing a different culture. It sounds like it was a super exciting and unforgettable trip for everyone!

A Big Thank You To:

• The parents who supported the students on their learning journey.

• Funglish for planning everything so well.

• First Choice English Academy and Sean English Academy in the Philippines for their great help with classes and activities.

And a huge cheer for our Wunde students who went on the trip! You were all so brave and worked hard to learn new things. You showed everyone that learning can happen anywhere, and when you're brave and try new things, you can have amazing adventures!

This trip was not just about learning English; it was also about experiencing new cultures and making memories that will last a lifetime! We're so proud of our Wunde adventurers!

June 25th, 2025- We had a super special musical show at school! The Chen Zheng Orchestra came to visit, and they brought their beautiful guzhengs (that's a Chinese instrument that looks a bit like a harp).

The show started with a fun play that taught us all about the guzheng. Then, the orchestra played so many songs we knew, from Disney movies to Studio Ghibli films! Everyone loved listening to the beautiful music.

Some lucky students and teachers even got to go on stage and try playing the guzheng themselves! It was so cool to get up close and see how elegant and special this instrument is.

To end the show, everyone sang and danced along to a really popular song called "Dazhan Hongtu." The whole place was full of energy!

A big thank you to the Chen Zheng Orchestra for sharing their amazing music with us. It was a wonderful and unforgettable musical journey!

June 22nd, 2025- Big news, Wunde students! Our very own Li Chen-Feng from fifth grade has won second place in the National Junior Taekwondo Championship! Isn't that amazing?

Chen-Feng worked incredibly hard, training and practicing every day. His dedication and effort truly paid off, bringing great honor to Wunde Elementary School!

We were so proud to see his hard work recognized! The Changhua County Government, led by Magistrate Wang Hui-Mei, even put up a special red banner to celebrate his achievement. We also had special guests, Secretary Huang Ya-Ling, Inspector Bai Shu-Ru, and County Magistrate Advisor Hsu Ling-Ya, visit our school to put up the banner and cheer Chen-Feng on.

Our Principal Hsieh Ting-Li even visited Chen-Feng's home on the weekend to put up a red banner there and give him her warmest congratulations and encouragement. This kind of support really helps our students keep going!

Chen-Feng, we're all so proud of you! This is just the beginning of your incredible journey. The entire Wunde Elementary family is cheering you on!

Fenyuan Township, Changhua County, Taiwan – On June 13, 2025, Wunde Elementary School held its graduation ceremony for Class 6A. It was a happy and touching day as students finished elementary school and looked forward to new beginnings.

The event started with lively dance performances by the students, showing off their energy and confidence. Then, each student received their diploma from the principal. The principal wished them well, saying, "Graduation is a new start. Be brave and true to yourselves. Become a better version of yourselves and find your own light."

Students also received special awards for their talents in arts, sports, and for being helpful and hardworking. They proudly showed off their awards. A very special moment was when students gave handmade wooden trays to their parents, saying "Thank you." This brought tears and smiles to many.

The class teacher shared kind words, reminding students that this was just the beginning of more exciting times. The ceremony ended with the class singing a farewell song together. There were tears of saying goodbye, but also smiles for the future.

Congratulations, Class 6A! We wish you all the best as you go out and shine brightly in the world!
